Life in London Trust

We are proud supporters of Life in London Trust (LILT)

Since 2020, Autodata has been a proud supporter of Life in London Trust (Registered Charity: 1190459), assisting with everything from bucket collections and handing out essentials to the homeless at Trafalgar Square to providing gifts which are hand-wrapped and delivered to children’s hospices at Christmas.

Life in London Trust was founded by Reena Sharma Kalia in memory of her brother and his dedicated work supporting individuals experiencing homelessness. The Trust continues his legacy by promoting compassion, community support, and youth engagement. They actively involve younger generations in our projects to help educate and instil values of kindness, social responsibility, and giving back.

The Trust is led by 6 dedicated trustees who oversee the organisation’s direction and governance. Each project is supported by an average of 30 volunteers, and they are proud to have over 100 registered volunteers who contribute their time, energy, and compassion.

Life in London recently received support from the National Lottery Community Fund, which enables them to carry out research and continue expanding their work within the community.

Fundraising Activities

To help fund their projects, LILT organise two major fundraising events each year. Past activities have included climbing Mount Kilimanjaro and completing a 25km London City Walk. These events not only raise essential funds but also bring the community together in a shared mission. Here are some of the recent activities we have contributed to:

June 2026 - The Seven Sisters Challenge

When planning Autodata’s 40th Birthday Event, we started thinking about the smaller details. Guest wristbands are usually single-use/non-recyclable. But we decided to do things differently this time round! We used reusable, non-toxic, silicone wristbands and added a purpose.

For each wristband our guests returned that night, we pledged a charitable donation of £5 to the Life in London Trust. A pile of blue silicone wristbands with the word Autodata, a circular logo, and a nod to Life in London printed in white on each band.

It’s a small change, but one that reflects our mindset: doing better, simply because we can and we raised a total of £380!

These funds will support our colleague who is taking on the 21K Seven Sisters Walk with his young son, an incredible challenge for Life in London Trust.

December 2025 - Christmas Wrapped

At Autodata, we believe in giving back to the communities around us and this year, we’re honoured to support the incredible work of the Life in London Trust. Every year, the charity wraps and delivers over 1,500 gifts and hampers for children in hospice care and young adults living in shelters. The wrapping alone takes three full days, powered by dedicated volunteers and donations from partners, friends, and family including an amazing 300 Squishmallows and gifts donated by Hasbro!

Today, the Trust continues that legacy of compassion and uniquely welcomes younger generations to take part in every project, helping to educate and instil values of kindness for the future.
